ABOUT WRIDZ
- What is Wridz? Wridz is a rideshare platform that connects drivers and passengers. Unlike other rideshare companies, Wridz drivers keep 100% of their fares and pay a small monthly subscription fee instead.
- How is Wridz different from other rideshare companies? Wridz is region-based. Drivers subscribe to regions where they want to drive and keep 100% of their fares. Passengers benefit from enhanced safety features including driver verification, calling cards, and transparent pricing.
- Is there a separate app for riders and drivers? No. The same app is used for both drivers and passengers. If you are an approved driver, you can switch between driver mode and passenger mode from the side menu.
FOR PASSENGERS
- How do I request a ride? Enter your destination in the search bar, select your preferred vehicle type, and tap Request Ride. A nearby driver will be assigned to pick you up.
- How do I know my driver is safe? All Wridz drivers undergo background checks. You can verify your driver using their unique calling card displayed on the dashboard. You can also share your trip details with trusted contacts.
- How is my fare calculated? Fares are calculated based on distance and duration of your trip, plus any applicable booking fees, tolls, and surcharges. You can see an estimated fare before requesting your ride.
- What payment methods are accepted? Wridz accepts credit and debit cards. You can manage your payment methods in the app settings.
- Can I schedule a ride in advance? Yes, you can schedule rides in advance by selecting a future pickup time when requesting your ride.
- Can I see my trip history? Yes, your trip history is available from the side menu. You can view details about past trips including routes taken and invoices.
FOR DRIVERS
- How do I sign up to become a driver? Download the Wridz app and follow the driver signup process. You will need to provide personal information, vehicle details, and pass a background check.
- Do drivers keep 100% of fares? Yes! Wridz drivers keep 100% of their fares including booking fees, distance/duration charges, and tolls. Drivers pay a small monthly subscription fee for each region they drive in.
- What are the vehicle requirements? Vehicles must be no older than 15 years with 4 independent doors, seat belts for each passenger, and must be in good mechanical and cosmetic condition.
- How do I get paid? Wridz drivers are paid through direct deposit to their bank account.
- How do subscription fees work? Drivers subscribe to regions where they want to drive and pay a small monthly fee for each region. You can pause or reactivate subscriptions at any time.
SAFETY
- Does Wridz carry insurance? Yes, Wridz carries insurance that meets or exceeds all state requirements.
- How can I verify my driver/passenger? Wridz provides calling cards for driver and passenger verification. You can also view driver information including their name, photo, vehicle details, and rating before and during your trip.
ACCOUNT & SUPPORT
- How do I update my profile? Go to Preferences from the side menu to update your profile information, payment methods, and app settings.
- How do I contact support? You can submit a support ticket from the Help option in the side menu. Our team will respond as quickly as possible.
- How do I delete my account? You can request account deletion from the Preferences screen. Please note this action is permanent and cannot be undone.
